Hailing from Oceanside, California, Caitlin “Caity” Simmers quickly established herself as one of the most promising surfers on the circuit. Renowned for her laid-back style, radical creativity, and progressive approach, she is helping to define a new era of women’s surfing.

At just 15 years old, she won the US Open of Surfing, becoming the second-youngest champion in the event’s history. After being named Rookie of the Year in 2023, Caity dominated the circuit in 2024 with victories at Pipeline, Bells Beach, and Rio, before clinching the WSL World Title at just 18 years of age.

In 2025, Caity cemented her status among the global surfing elite, securing a major victory at the Surf Abu Dhabi Pro and runner-up finishes at the Margaret River Pro and the Lexus Pipe Pro.

Away from competition, she expresses her passion through filmmaking, traveling, and documenting her surfing adventures with family and friends.
